Hello Friends! My card today is from the adorable Playful Pets Suite. Oh, my gosh! Isn’t this little pup just the most adorable thing? He’s so cute and playful and he brings a smile to my face! I’m sure he’ll bring a smile to the person that receives this card.
Playful Pets is a suite that’s a must have for all animal lovers. Included is a designer series paper that’s the cutest – ever. For the inside of the card I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Basic Black Ink and colored the image using the following Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate Combo Pack, Real Red, and Bronze. Instructions:
- Stamp the sentiment “I hope your day is a real treat” onto the 2 1/8 x 1 piece of whisper white card stock.
- Assemble layers as follows on card base: Basic Black 5 1/2 x 2, Playful Pets Designer Series Paper 5 1/2 x 1 7/8, Basic Black 4 1/4 x 2 3/4, Playful Pets Designer Series Paper 4 1/8 x 2 5/8, Stitched Square in Basic Black 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and Stitched Square in Whisper White 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 using Stampin’ Dimensionals, Basic Black for sentiment 2 1/4 x 1 1/8, Whisper White 2 1/8 x 1.
- Die cut the dog from Playful Pets Designer Series Paper and adhere to whisper white layering stitched square using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow. Add to the Playful Pets Heart Trinket using a mini glue dot.
- Adhere the Playful Pets Heart trinket with adhesive of your choice.
- Add three red rhinestone basic jewels.
- Inside stamp the dog and “Enjoy” sentiment onto the 5 1/4 x 4 piece of whisper white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Basic Black Ink. Color the dog using the following Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate Combo Pack, Dark Real Red and Bronze.
- Adhere the following layers inside: 5 1/4 x 4 stamped whisper white, 4 x 3/4 stripe Playful Pets Designer Series Paper and 4 x 1/4 basic black strip.
- Fussy cut the dog bowl and adhere to inside of card.

Hello Friends! Today I’m sharing a masculine Thinking of You card, featuring the By the Dock Bundle. I’ve had this set for a while and finally got an opportunity to create with it. The background uses a pattern from the retired Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it perfect? When I saw this set, this paper came to my mind right away and I just had to use it. Painted Poppies Birthday-Remembering Our Veterans
Hello Friends!
How many of you have loved ones who are Veterans or currently serve our country? I have many family members and friends who have served our great country. My husband, father, brothers-in-law, late father-in-law, grandfather and uncles all served our great country. I am so thankful for their great service and sacrifices they made for our freedoms.
Did you know the poppy is our official symbol of remembrance? On Memorial Day, in the United States, we wear the symbolic red flower to honor and memorialize the many men and women who gave their lives fighting for our country to protect our freedoms. Friends, as Memorial Day approaches, please join me in remembering our veterans, soldiers and their families for the sacrifices they made and make for our freedoms.
Today’s card features the beautiful Painted Poppies Bundle and Designer Series Paper. Wouldn’t you love to give this card to remember the Veteran in your life? I chose to create a birthday card today but this set would also work beautifully for a thank you, thinking of you card or sympathy card. This designer series paper is being retired but the Stamp set will carry over into the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog which will be out on June 3, 2020. - Die cut the following: focal circle frame using Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White Stitched circle, Poppy flower – 2″ x 2″ red, Poppy flower overlay – 2″ x 2″ Basic Black, Poppy Moments Leaves in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.
- Adhere poppy flower and overlay together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

It’s Your Day! Happy Birthday!
Hello, Friends! I am thankful for this warm day in Kansas, where its a perfect time to be outdoors enjoying the sun! Today’s project is a great masculine card that’s just right for a day like today.
The image and sentiments are from “A Good Man” stamp set stamped in Memento Black ink. The focal image is colored using Seaside Spray, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends.
I used the retiring Country Club Designer Series Paper, which is in our January-June 2020 mini catalog on page 47. I am sad to see this paper go – its been one of my favorites in the mini catalog for a long time. The bright and bold coordinating colors and patterns are perfect for masculine cards. A Peaceful Place – Sympathy Card
Hello Friends! My creation today is a sympathy card using the retiring Peaceful Place stamp set.
This is a beautiful scene to express condolences to someone who has lost a loved one. Sending sympathy cards can be a difficult to do, but they are a wonderful way to show others your love for them and how much you care. Something as simple as a card can really make a difference in someone’s life. In the hustle and bustle of life, I encourage you to take the time to let others know you care by sending a card if they’re going through tough times. Sending a handmade card is an extra special and meaningful way to show them you care.
To create the sky, first, I sponged a color combination of Balmy Blue and Seaside Spray Ink onto whisper white card stock. Then, the image was stamped with Memento Ink. I used Mossy Meadow ,Granny Apple Green, Seaside Spray, Bronze and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to color the image. Below are the supplies I used in creating this beautiful card.

Hello Friends!!
I love this card. It’s simplicity and elegance make it a wonderful creation to share with someone. Who wouldn’t love to receive this card in the mail? It’s sure to brighten someone’s day!
I used the beautiful Magnolia Lane Bundle and Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. I colored the image using Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment is heat embossed using white embossing powder.
I always enjoy decorating the inside of my cards to coordinate with the front. This creates a consistent flow of design, color and feel and ties the look together as the card is opened. I used just a bit of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series paper to complete the inside of the card. Don’t forget to stamp your envelope!

Best Catch Birthday
Hello, hello friends!
I am so excited to share my card with you today! I needed a manly card for my Uncle’s Birthday, so I decided to use the Best Catch Bundle as a tribute to his love of fishing. I’ve had this bundle for awhile in my stamp collection and never got around to using it until now. The Best Catch Bundle was fun to use and even though I always find it a bit challenging creating manly cards (I guess my brain is just wired for more feminine things), this set made creating the card easy!
This card captures the feeling that people have when they’re on the river or lake, stalking that big fish. Peace. Quiet. Just you and the fish. Or at least that’s what I’m told. To be honest with you, I had to enlist my husband’s help to identify the fish in order to determine its coloring – turns out this is a rainbow trout. So, not knowing my fish species, a bit of research was involved to reveal what a rainbow trout is suppose to look like.
The card layer is from the Come Sail Away Memories and More Pack. I stamped the images using Stazon Black ink onto Fluid 100 watercolor paper. Then, I watercolored the images using Seaside Spray, Soft Suede, Flirty Flamingo, Purple Posy and Old Olive inks. The lake is watercolored using Seaside Spray ink and then stamped using the water image from the High Tide stamp set.
A card isn’t complete without an envelope, so I made one to match. I inked up my stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers using Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo, gave the stamp a little “huff” as we call it in the stamping world and then stamped the fish onto the front of my envelope.

Country Club Golf Birthday
Hello Friends! I’m hoping you all are staying safe. How is everyone holding up during this time? Are you going stir crazy? Today’s card makes me want to get outside and enjoy nature! I am not a golfer. I have been golfing a time or two but for the life of me I never can see where that ball goes! My husband and son, however, love the sport.
I needed a manly card for my son’s birthday. I always struggle with manly cards but was super excited to see this awesome suite in the mini catalog. My son is an avid golfer so it is perfect! For this card, I used the Clubhouse Suite which included the Clubhouse stamp set, Golf Club Dies and Country Club Designer Series Paper. I also used the Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder and Country Club elements.
I just love the bright colors in the designer series paper and how all the patterns coordinate together. There are so many ways this paper can be interchanged to make the perfect background for a card. I stamped the golfer and colored him using Stampin’ Blends. The golf ball and tee are colored using Stampin’ Markers.

Hello friends!! Todays card is a sneak peek of the Ornate Garden Suite Collection #154153 from Stampin’ Up. This stamp suite is an exclusive early release from the upcoming 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up annual catalog. This beautiful bundle allows you to create so many possibilities! With its versatility you can create any card with sentiments from birthdays to sympathy.
My layers on this card are created using the gorgeous Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper. The coordinating color choices to use with this paper include: Bumblebee, Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile and Whisper White. My frame is die cut using gold foil paper and then popped up with dimensionals. The focal image is heat embossed with gold embossing powder and then colored in using Stampin’ Blends. I also used dimensionals to pop up the flower image. The sentiment is heat embossed using Versa Mark ink and gold embossing powder. I used the Gilded Gems, which are available in this suite, to add a bit of sparkle.
